Quality Processes & Mechanisms
Quality and relevance are the pillars of CCPS. We ensure relevance through our initiatives such as the EcoSystem and the Professional Competence Framework (PCF) whereby we engage with numerous stakeholders to get their contributions. For these initiative to be sustainable, it is essential that we have the highest levels of quality throughout all processes.
Comments from the executive committee are that our quality mechanisms should align with processes and best practices already in place such as:
- Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources / Department of Skills Development (MoHR/DSD)
- Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
- Singapore National InfoComm Framework (NICF)
In addition, with reference to the recent circular by Malaysia HRDF (Training Provider’s Circular No. 1/2014), it is important for us to ensure all the training providers are able to meet high levels of quality.
A Working Group (WG) is to be established to review and update where necessary our quality mechanisms with the objective of maintaining quality of training and assessment aligned to the PCF. This document will identify mechanisms for the inclusion of new training providers through clearly defined and transparent processes.
The working group will be comprised of CCPS members and other interested parties to develop the required quality mechanisms. CCPS members will be updated on when this will take place and they are encouraged to nominate a suitable representative from their organizations for the Quality Working Group.
