President's Message

On behalf of the CCPS Executive Committee, I would like to thank all Members and partners for your continued support as we endeavour to make CCPS a society that brings substantial benefits to its members.

I am heartened to see that from its humble beginnings, CCPS is now recognized as an established body that drives capability development and enhances the professionalism across the ICT industry.

CCPS now has members from a broad range of industry sectors and has formed alliances with a number of agencies & bodies to ensure that these industry driven initiatives are supported at the highest level.

There has been tremendous support from the Executive Committee, who are all volunteers and have given their time and effort to serving CCPS.  Many members have also made significant contributions, and due to this, we have managed to achieve the following:

  • The completion of Phase 1 of the Professional Competence Framework (PCF)
  • The launch of our Graduate Employability Database for fresh grads seeking their first employment opportunity

We are a young society. Setting up many of the structures, processes and policies that are still needed does take time and we appreciate your support and patience whilst these are put into place.

I am also pleased to report that we have established MoUs with a number of organisations and have seen significant progress through these relationships. These include:

  • The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)
  • The Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR)
  • The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC)

I am enormously grateful for the support of our members towards these achievements, and encourage all of us to strive for even greater successes as we move forward. I look forward to your continued support.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Paul Mather
